About Us

Abercrombie & Associates, LLC (A&A) offers accounting, auditing, information technology, and consulting services to nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and state government.

Birthed out of the vision of its principal, Tim Abercrombie, Sr., the firm has steadily grown in capacity and reach each year since 2004. Originally, A&A had a sole focus on accounting, but in 2008, the decision was strategically made to expand its offerings to include information technology services, including project management, business process consulting, and documentation/technical writing.

Now more than 15 years since its inception, A&A services more than 100 clients throughout the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and Arizona. The staff is complemented by diverse, highly skilled, qualified and certified associates and consultants who possess specific expertise to spearhead and augment projects. Our quality control standards are designed to ensure that we provide the highest quality professional service to our clients.

Located in the heart of Silver Spring, Md., A&A is a licensed CPA firm registered with the Maryland State Board of Accountancy and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA®) Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS) and Diverse Organization of Firms.  A&A is also a Maryland Department of Information Technology (MDOT) Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)/Small Business Enterprise (SBE), and a member of the Maryland Small Business Reserve (SBR) program.
