Bobbi Besley has more than twenty years of accounting experience of which seventeen years is work with non-profit organizations.  She consistently delivers quality services to her customers.  Commitment describes her work ethic.  Bobbi’s expertise includes accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, journal entries, bank reconciliation, financial statements, and audit preparation.  Her experience includes performing both accounting and IT roles including Business Manager, Director of Finance and Administration, Operations Manager, and Network Administrator.  She graduated from Eastern Senior High School in Washington, DC; and continued her studies in accounting at Prince Georges Community College.

Jo Ellen Bilanin

Bilanin, Jo Ellen – CPA

Accountant

Jo Ellen Bilanin is a licensed CPA in Maryland. Jo Ellen’s undergraduate degree is from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her undergraduate accounting courses were taken at the University of Maryland University College (now University of Maryland Global Campus). She has a Masters in Taxation from American University in Washington DC. Jo Ellen has experience with all day-to-day operations of a small business including payroll, retirement plans, all other benefits, accounts receivable, accounts payable and human resources. She has also worked with large data sets of accounts using proprietary software to analyze investment performance.

Giselle Perez earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Western Governors University and has experience supporting the financial operations of small businesses. Giselle has managed core accounting functions including bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processes, and reconciliations. With prior experience as an e-commerce business owner and real estate professional, Giselle is skilled in working with financial data, analyzing performance, and streamlining processes using accounting software to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Sandra Frempong

Sanchez, Maria

Audit Manager

Maria Sanchez has 18 years of experience in Government Contract & Compliance Audits and Single Audits. She led the planning and execution of audits related to federal and state government contracts, ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Uniform Guidance, and agency-specific regulations. She managed a team of auditors and analysts, providing oversight, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality deliverables. Maria collaborated with internal departments such as legal, compliance, and finance, as well as external regulatory agencies, during audits and investigations. She conducted risk assessments, developed audit plans, and reported findings with actionable recommendations to senior leadership. Maria played a key role in ensuring readiness for different government agencies such as DCAA, NASA, DOT, FAA, FTA, USAID, and other agencies’ audits and responses, effectively minimizing financial and reputational risks. She developed internal controls and best practices to support ongoing contract compliance and enhance operational efficiency.

Racquel Wright

Racquel Wright holds a Dual B.S. in Accounting and Finance, from Pennsylvania State University.  She has over nine years of experience in non-profit.  Racquel’s experience in non-profit accounting provides her clients with accounting, audit preparation, and accounting software support.  She is responsible for supporting the audit process for audits of small nonprofit organizations.  Racquel currently serves as a mentor for a Waldorf based non-profit and most recently served as Controller for two D.C. based non-profit organizations.
